Tanyak worked for saving lifes of the community people in pandemic by distributing emergency supplies and awareness.The outbreak of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 posed unprecedented challenges, especially for vulnerable populations like migrant workers. We quickly mobilized to provide food, health services, and essential relief to these individuals who were disproportionately affected by the lockdowns and economic disruptions. This timely intervention not only addressed immediate needs but also contributed.

Manipur witnessed one of the most dreadful communal violence in the first week of May 2023. The death toll has crossed 100. As houses were burnt down to ashes and people fled to save their lives without any belongings, more than 70,000 people have been displaced. To understand the ground situation and needs of the affected people, Team Tanyak conducted a rapid needs assessment (RNA) covering the 6 most affected districts. This was not an easy task since incidents of violence were continuing and only short relaxation in curfew was being given.
